We’re beyond excited to share this milestone with you all, and it’s your dedication and support that have made this event so special over the years. Whether you're running for a personal best, walking to enjoy the day, or just here to cheer for your family or friends. THANK YOU for being part of this journey to build a healthier community. 🙌

Check-in this morning will be from 7:30 - 8:30 AM 👍 If you did not join us at Early Bib Pick-Up, please visit our Check-In tents on race day to receive your bib and shirt. 🎽

If you or someone you know already checked you in and picked up your bib and shirt, there’s no need to check in again. Just show up before 8:30 AM so you have plenty of time to find your pacing group before the race begins at 9 AM! ⏰

RACE DAY is in less than 24 hours! We can’t wait to see you at the 10th Anniversary Road to Wellness 5K Run/2-Mile Walk tomorrow morning 🎉

Here's some tips to help you feel ready for race day:

😴 Make sure you get a good night’s sleep

🚆 Plan extra time to travel to The Dimock Center on the morning of the race. Parking will be VERY limited in the area, so please plan to take public transportation, bike, or get a ride.

🍌Eat a well-balanced breakfast to ensure you are fueled up for the Run/Walk! It can help to eat something high in carbohydrates, such as a bagel, banana, energy bar, or oatmeal.

🎽 Check-in will open promptly at 7:30 AM for anyone who did not pick up their bib early.
If you've already picked up your bib, you can arrive by 8:30 AM. The walk/run will begin promptly at 9:00 AM!

🎶 Please make sure you are on time so you can join the amazing opening ceremony with the fabulous @edwardslatoyia and warm up with the iconic Brandy Cruthird @bbb360_ at 8:10 AM and music from @rockstonetrizz from @sparkfmonline!

🎈 Don’t forget to check out the wide range of exhibitors at our Health & Fitness Pavilion located just behind the finish line at 55 Dimock Street! The pavilion will be open from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM.

🌦️ The 10th Annual Road to Wellness is on, rain or shine, on Saturday, September 7th, barring extreme weather such as an intense thunderstorm. Please dress accordingly and stay tuned to the Road to Wellness website and social media channels for the latest updates.

We're excited to share that registration numbers for this year’s 10th Anniversary Road to Wellness 5K Run/2-Mile Walk on Saturday, September 7th have been beyond our greatest expectations! Our numbers have been rapidly growing daily and we cannot thank you all for this incredible show of support. We’re inspired by your eagerness to begin or continue your journey towards wellness AND build a healthier community.

If this upward trend continues, we are quickly approaching the point where we will reach the capacity of walkers and runners who can safely gather on Dimock’s campus.

To make sure that our community has the best Road to Wellness experience, we will no longer be able to register anyone in person on race day. We will also have to close registration online when we reach our maximum number of participants, or no later than 5 pm on Thursday, September 5th.

Check-in on race day will still run from 7:30 - 8:30 AM. If you haven’t yet registered but plan to walk or run with us on September 7th, make sure to sign up in advance asap at www.roadtowellness5k.com and join us as we celebrate 10 inspiring years. 🔥

A pace group is a team of runners who all aim to finish the race in a specific time. At the Road to Wellness on September, 7, 2024, we’ll have different pace groups to match your experience level—whether you’re a walker, new to running, , or a seasoned marathoner. The numbers you see on the signs correspond with how long it takes to run a mile. 👟

No matter your level, you’ll find the pace that suits you best. On race day, keep an eye out for volunteers in the blue t-shirts holding up signs for your pace group. Don’t stress—just lace up, find your pace and enjoy the race! 🏅
